We are excited to share details of a new vacancy at le Tremplin, our outstanding hotel, restaurant & terrace in Morzine situated in the heart of the beautiful French Alps. Currently undergoing a full redevelopment, this role will commence in June 2025 with our doors fully opening to our fantastic customers in December 2025 for our popular winter and ski season. We seek superstars to join the team in the role of : Executive Chef de Cuisine The perfect candidate will be a true professional with the ability to demonstrate key experience and knowledge along with having the passion and drive to successfully lead our kitchen brigade. As Executive Chef de Cuisine you will be part of the senior management team on site, working closely with the General Manager/ Managing Director with responsibility and accountability for the kitchen & food operation. Key responsibilities; • Being the figure head of the food offer throughout our hotel, restaurant & terrace operation. • Responsible for recruitment, training and leadership of the brigade ensuring consistency with the delivery of our key goals & core values. • Consistent development of the team, encouraging a forward thinking progressive environment encouraging colleagues to do their best work. • Through outstanding food, service & great experiences make le Tremplin 'better to be there' & the venue of choice in the Alps. • Responsible for the management and profitability of the full kitchen & food operation. Working closely with the GM, Operations Manager and Finance Director on budgets, costings, suppliers and forecasting. • Working & liaising with the owners to consistently evolve the offer to be the best in class & best within the Haute Savoie. • Have collaborative influence on the food offer but work within a pre-defined style & menu structure • Ensure that all areas of safety & control are effectively managed & maintained • Promoting a culture of kindness & upholding our company values. Candidates must be fluent in French & English languages & be in possession of the correct work permits to fulfil the role Must possess current food safety certificates to a high level The are looking to fill the role in early June 2025 with a opening date of mid-December 2025, a live in proposition is available.
